Vicolo

Vicolo is an Italian restaurant template, designed and built end to end. Most restaurant sites open with a slideshow of plates and then make you hunt for the menu. Vicolo opens with the thing that makes the place worth finding - a laneway you would walk straight past if nobody told you it was there.

Dark editorial type on warm cream, a hand-drawn script for the asides, and a full menu you can actually read on a phone. Functions, group bookings and a gnocchi masterclass get a page of their own, and the menu runs off the CMS so a seasonal change takes a minute rather than a call to a developer.
