Talkbox

Talkbox is a PR and marketing agency template for independent agencies, designed and built end to end. It is set in signal red, ink and paper, with a giant script “psst.” over a kid peeking up from below, and the letters duck when the cursor comes close. The brand mark is a box with a speech tail, and it runs through the site: every page change builds the box, folds its lid shut and pops out the tail before the next page lifts in, and the same box opens inside the mobile menu. The homepage moves from eight services to scroll-stacked case studies, a statement that types itself in as you scroll with photos set into the line, the sectors the agency works with, a pile of testimonials you can drag away and a team lineup that rises from behind a baseline.

Behind the homepage sit a services page with its own page for each of the eight services; case studies, each with its outputs and a link to the next; our team, with a portrait beside each bio; Shop Talk, a CMS blog with share buttons; and a contact page whose form lets visitors tick the services they need. Hand-cut engraving stickers, from a telephone and a typewriter to a parrot and a gramophone, mark the pages. It is responsive across desktop, tablet and phone.
